Married with two children travelling the world after university, Dr Steve is a keen runner and you are welcome to join him jogging from Woodend Beach to Waikuku Beach at lunchtime.

Doctor Nicki McKay joined the practice in October 2017. She has been a GP in many different settings for 30 years, predominantly in North Canterbury, including five years in rural General Practice. Dr Nicki has special expertise in family planning, microbiology - infections and laboratory work - and in mental health.
Dr Nicki has personal experience of breast cancer and understands many of the tricky issues involved in cancer treatment. The mother of three sons, she is familiar with the challenges faced by parents.
Her hobbies include knitting and jewelry making.

Marilyn Herbert, has been a Practice Nurse in North Canterbury for more than 34 years, and the Nurse at the Woodend Medical Centre for more than 12 years.
